Frisa al pomodoro is a culinary specialty served also in fine restaurants.
In the Bari dialect it is defined by the term ciallèdde which in Italian becomes waffle. It is a delicious meal in every aspect that occupies a place in the Mediterranean diet. They are perfect to eat on the beach during the hottest days of summer.
Ingredients for 4 people
4 frize esSenza Glutine
8 cherry tomatoes
2 cloves of garlic
extra virgin olive oil
Rub the garlic on the frize. Spread the frize under cold water to soften them trying not to make them too soft. Rub the surface with the tomato and season with oil, salt and oregano .... but the frize can be seasoned in various ways according to your taste and imagination.
